1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information when you use the Service:

  • Account Information. Your name, phone number, and email address provided during account creation.
  • Bill and Financial Information. Details you provide about your bills, including service provider name, account number (if provided), amounts owed, due dates, and related account details. This information is used solely to facilitate AI negotiation calls and bill tracking.
  • Call Recordings and Transcripts. When you use the AI negotiation call feature, the conversation between the AI and the service provider may be recorded and transcribed for quality assurance, dispute resolution, and service improvement.
  • Chat Conversations. Text conversations you have with the AI chat assistant, including messages and files you upload, are processed to provide responses and execute your requests.
  • Usage Analytics. We collect information about how you interact with the Service, including pages visited, features used, and session duration, to improve our service.
  • Device Information. We may collect information about the device you use to access the Service, including browser type, operating system, and IP address, for security and analytics purposes.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

  • To provide, operate, and maintain the Service, including making AI negotiation calls to service providers on your behalf
  • To process payments and manage your account, including subscription billing and per-call fees
  • To improve and personalize the Service based on usage patterns and feedback
  • To communicate with you regarding your account, service updates, and support requests
  • To detect, prevent, and address technical issues, fraud, and abuse
  • To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service

3. AI and Data Processing

HomeGenie uses artificial intelligence to power its services. Specifically:

  • Chatbot. Conversations with the AI chat assistant are processed by Anthropic’s Claude models (Haiku for command classification, Sonnet for response generation). Anthropic does not train its models on your data. See Anthropic’s privacy policy for details.
  • Voice Calls. AI negotiation calls are powered by Vapi (voice infrastructure) and ElevenLabs (voice synthesis). The AI conversation model is Anthropic’s Claude Sonnet. Call audio may be processed through these services to facilitate the call. See Vapi’s privacy policy and ElevenLabs’ privacy policy.

4. Payment Data

All payment processing is handled by Stripe, Inc., a PCI-DSS compliant payment processor. We do not store full credit card numbers, CVV codes, or other sensitive payment credentials on our servers. Stripe receives your payment information directly and provides us with a tokenized reference to process transactions. For details on how Stripe handles your data, see Stripe’s privacy policy.

5. Call Recordings

AI negotiation calls may be recorded for quality assurance, dispute resolution, and service improvement. Recordings are stored securely and retained for the duration of your account plus a reasonable period thereafter to allow for dispute resolution. You will be notified at the start of each call if recording is enabled. Recordings are accessible only to authorized personnel and are not shared with third parties except as necessary to provide the Service or comply with law.

6. Third-Party Services

HomeGenie relies on the following third-party service providers to operate the Service:

  • Vercel — application hosting and deployment
  • Neon — PostgreSQL database hosting and storage
  • Anthropic — AI chat and negotiation models (Claude)
  • Vapi — AI voice call infrastructure
  • ElevenLabs — AI voice synthesis for phone calls
  • Stripe — payment processing
  • Supabase — authentication and data management

Each of these providers has its own privacy and security policies governing their handling of data. We encourage you to review their policies.

7. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes. We may share your information in the following circumstances:

  • With your consent. We may share information when you have given us explicit permission to do so.
  • Service providers. We share information with the third-party service providers listed above as necessary to operate the Service.
  • Legal requirements. We may disclose information if required to do so by law, legal process, or governmental request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of HomeGenie, its users, or others.
  • Business transfers. In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to confidentiality obligations.

8. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period thereafter to allow for dispute resolution, legal compliance, and service continuity. When you delete your account, we will purge your personal data within 30 days, subject to any legal obligations requiring us to retain certain records. Call recordings and transcripts are retained for the duration of your account plus a period of up to 90 days thereafter to allow for dispute resolution, after which they are permanently deleted.

9. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encryption at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS 1.2+), access controls, and regular security reviews. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Children’s Privacy

The Service is not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that a child under 18 has provided us with personal information, we will take steps to delete such information promptly. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately.

11. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:

  • Access. Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correction. Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Deletion. Request deletion of your personal data, subject to legal exceptions.
  • Portability. Request transfer of your data to another service provider.
  • Objection. Object to the processing of your personal data for certain purposes.

12. International Data Transfers

Your data may be transferred to and processed in the United States and other jurisdictions where our service providers operate. We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through an in-app notice before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
